Survey on the need for skills in the labor market National Employment Agency December 2016 –  April 2017 The objective of the survey for skills needs in the labor market is to provide certain indicators of employers’ expectations in terms of possibilities for new employments and also upgrading the skills of the employed so they could be more competitive on the labor market.
Conducting a nation-wide survey for identifying the demand for childcare services (both formal and informal) amongst families with children WYG International Limited for European Union External Actions October 2016 –March 2017 The Project’s Overall objective is to conduct a nation-wide survey in the Beneficiary Country for identifying the demand for childcare services (both formal and informal) amongst families with children. Key activities:

  • Design a representative samples
  • Carry out field interviews  amongst families with children
  •  Analyze the possibility for the daycare opportunities

We have conducted a Tracer Study among graduates from VET and HE institutions. As a part of this project we provided:

Conducting a nation-wide survey in the Beneficiary Country for assessing the capacities of employers  in supporting actively their employees to combine work and family responsibilities WYG International Limited for European Union External Actions September –December  2016 The Project’s Overall objective is to conduct a nation-wide survey in the Country for assessing the capacities of employers (both public and private) in supporting actively their employees to combine work and family responsibilities. Key activities:

Sociological research on the attitudes of Macedonians towards Greece The Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University (ISHR) December 2015 – March  2016;

The aim of the project is to conduct sociological research on the attitudes of Macedonians towards Greece. Prepare the questionnaire.

·  Coordinate the format and content of the questionnaire

The main objective of the audit is to detect if the Program is following the guidelines specified in the Manual for Educational Program operations and evaluate the effectiveness of defined processes and provide recommendations for adjustments/modifications to be made in the process. Key activities:

·       Design of tools (questionnaires, guidelines, topics and other qualitative instruments) for each process of the CCT programs

·       Identify a sample to carry out the field visits and review the process in detail.

·       Prepare a detailed report, and provide feedback, lessons learned, conclusions and recommendations to the CCT Program’s management.

Performance audit on compliance monitoring and payment stages of the CCT program for secondary education and the CCT program for subsidized employment CCT, World Bank October 2014 –

The main objective of the audit is to verify the information received by the CCT and to use spot checks in order to validate the accuracy of information received by the Program with respect to the actual payments to Beneficiaries. Key activities:

·       Calculate and propose a representative samples of paid beneficiaries; Carry out field visits and interview beneficiaries who received the payments

·       Analyze if there are significant differences between the information collected in field and that provided by the payments agencies involved in the program

Functioning of the health institutions in Macedonia and the quality of the health institutions services Ministry of Health January  2012 – May  2016 The objective of the project is to build and improve the functioning of the health system in Republic of Macedonia. The action is specifically focused on gaining knowledge and understanding of the obstacles concerning the functioning of the health institutions in the country and therefore creating indicators for improvements.
Pension system reform and policy change related to improvement The Swiss Confederation, represented by the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs October 2012 – March 2013 The objective of the project was to provide support and assistance to the Agency for supervision of fully funded pensions insurance and Ministry of Labour and Social Policy as regards to pension system reform and policy change related to improvement. Thus, the focus was directed to explore how well members currently understand their rights and obligations under the two fully funded pillars in order to promote better understanding, initiate public campaigns and financial education among members regarding the current developments in the pension system.
Assessment to the Education Policy Ministry of Education and Science December 2010 – March 2011 Objectives: The objective of the assignment was providing assessment to the education policy and the overall management of the system in the Republic of Macedonia. The action specifically focused on gaining particular understanding of the views and perception of the public regarding the quality of the curricula.

Results achieved: Gained findings and quantitative data towards areas which required improvement in the quality of the curricula. Further, provided recommendations for possible changes as well as additional mechanisms to contribute to the existing curricula development.

Assessment to the Law of Higher Education Modernization Education Project, World Bank and the Ministry of Education and Science May – September 2010 Objectives: The objective of the assignment was supporting the Ministry of Education and Science in the reforms process of the Higher Education. The action focused on providing the necessary cons and prons of the Higher Education system in Macedonia regarding the perceptions of students, academic communities and relevant institutions towards enhancement and changes in the Law on Higher Education.

Results achieved: The provided findings and data of the research contributed to improvements in the Law on Higher Education. Relevant changes which were provided in the conducted research occurred in the amended Law on Higher Education. In 2011 the Law on Higher Education was amended according to assessment of the research.
